So, you’re getting married?!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Your wedding day is clearly one of the most important days of your life and choosing your photographer is a big deal, so let me give you some pointers.

If you visit any other photographers website they are going to try to tell you why they are the one. But, I’m just going to give you a few pointers. Because hey, this planning thing is SO overwhelming.

  • Connect with your vendors. But most importantly, your photographer. Whoever you choose is the person that will be by your side the entire day. Even before your soon to be spouse. You want to pick someone that you trust. Someone that makes you comfortable. Someone that invests in YOU. This is my biggest, most important piece of advice I can give you.

  • Ballin on a budget? Honey, same. But cheaper isn’t always better. You’re investing thousands on your day, why not invest in someone reputable that knows exactly what they’re doing?

  • Book an engagement session with your photographer. You want to know how they operate before your wedding day!

  • make a list of the things that are the most important to you. Stick with it and prioritize those moments on your day.

  • LIVE IN THE MOMENT! The photos can wait, I said what I said.

So now that I’ve given a few tips, let’s talk about what working with me is like.

It’s all the authentic moments for me. The real smiles. The way your fiancé looks at you when you aren’t looking. I am constantly trying to capture the moments you aren’t present for so you can relive your day over and over and over again.

They don’t call me the planner photographer for no reason. On our very first phone call we will start by building a customized timeline for your day. I have an entire arsenal of vendor recommendations to ensure you are working with the dream team.

By the end of that first phone call, I want to feel like we are friends. And most of the time, that’s true. It is nothing for us to spend an hour on the phone. Not just talking about wedding things but also getting to know each other. I’ve learned over the years that you are automatically going to open up and be way more comfortable this way.

I love building close and personal bonds with my couples that way I can more authentically photograph them. I’m here for real connection. I’m here as a friend and as a real person. If you’re looking for a strictly business photographer, I am not the one.

If you like laughing, popping champagne, adventuring, all the animals, and living in the moment. It’s me, hi.

This isn’t just a job to me. It’s connecting and documenting real time. It’s creating images that you and your family will look at for generations to come.

I am here to document your legacy.

“I can't say enough great things about Sydney Sligh Photography! If details are important to you, she's your girl! If video is important to you, she's your girl! If you want to have a wedding album that you want to look back on for years to come and cry happy tears, she is your girl!!! Sydney and her husband were lovely to work with! Highly recommend!!!”

And that’s enough about me. Let’s talk investment.

Below you’ll find start pricing for most things as well as our most booked package.

Arkansas elopement pricing starts at $900 plus tax. Elopements are less than 20 people present. It does include some day of planning and coordination.

Out of state elopement pricing starts at $4200 plus tax. This does include most travel, one photographer, one videographer, an adventure session the day before your elopement and rehearsal coordination/coverage if applicable.

Wedding photography pricing for saturdays starts at $2800 plus tax. At a minimum I offer no less than 8 hours of coverage on Saturday dates. I have learned in the 10 years I have been doing this that more time spent with my couples means less rushing, more authentic moments and a more enjoyable day for my couples all the way around.

Our most booked package is the ultimate package which includes 10 hours of coverage for photography, videography, an engagement session and a bridal session. It is $5000 plus tax.

How do I book? Your first step is filling out an inquiry! If you decide to move forward, then I always send over a questionnaire to gather some basic information about you two and your big day. I always like to follow up and set up a phone call to talk through everything, your expectations, how I typically photograph a day, etc. lastly, I will send over a contract to be signed. Once that’s signed then a nonrefundable retainer is due to hold your date.

What’s your turn around time? 60 to 90 business days depending on the package booked. We do take off for all major holidays since our kids are home during that time!

How many images should I expect? We promise 50 images per hour. This depends greatly on how you lay out your day and how involved you are in living it up. A typical album ranges anywhere from 500-1500 images. I have 4 hour days that contain more images than 8 hour days solely because they were intentional with their time and stayed on schedule for their day.

How long are your videos? Around 5 or 6 minutes. We provide a highlight film and additional raw footage of ceremony, first looks, etc.

For more in depth information, please reach out by filling out a form on my inquiry page.

“Sydney Sligh is one of the most talented, skilled photographers I have ever had the joy of working with! Every time I look back at my wedding photos, I'm filled with such joy and awe in the way Sydney captured the memories and the emotion of the day! Not only is her work phenomenal, her turn-around time is awesome, her direction during shooting is clear and easy, and her personality is welcoming, laid back yet professional, and so calm. From our first phone call, she put me at ease and asked all the right questions, and was even extremely helpful in making some recommendations for our reception venue! If this sounds like what you want from your photographer, DO NOT HESITATE. BOOK SYDNEY. SHE WILL CAPTURE YOUR DREAMS.”
